To create a more fluid space for a newborn bedroom, a curving wall is added in the common area of the upper floor of a duplex home in Gemmayzeh. Glass channels animate the space and follow an egg shape curve, thus adding interest to the passage by highlighting the silhouette of people inside and allowing borrowed light to spill out from the living room on to the baby bedroom.
While the outside passage area has wood floors, plush carpet flooring inside the bedroom accentuates the curving wall. Along the baby bedroom a new glass bridge links the two sides of the apartment.
